TIFFANY AGUILAR, Owner

Tiffany grew up in Sisters and after graduating from the University of Oregon decided to take on big city life in San Francisco where she worked in marketing for some top-name advertising agencies and tech companies. But as the old saying goes, she left her heart in Central Oregon. She bought a home in beloved Bend and rented it out until they decided to come home. Tiffany realized firsthand the needs and gaps with property management and wanted to take the Central Oregon housing market to new heights. She and her husband have two young boys and three fur babies she adores. She loves scuba diving, reading, Oregon Ducks football and exploring beautiful Central Oregon.

Brian Bornfleth, Owner

Brian was born and raised in the Midwest. After a stint in the Navy and 20 years in the corporate world, Brian lived in the Bay Area managing housing needs for companies like Apple, eBay, Cisco, PayPal, and Google. Brian moved to Bend with his family in 2016 because it felt like the perfect combination of “Minnesota nice” and West Coast living with beautiful scenery and outdoorsy lifestyle. He wanted to bring his expertise in property management to Central Oregon and give owners and tenants the positive experience they deserve. When Brian is not making EPM the best property management company in the area, you’ll find Brian hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, camping or enjoying a beer at a local brewery.

Shelly bornfleth, Operations Director

Shelly spent over 20 years in teaching and left that career to join EPM in 2019. She has worked in every aspect of the company and uses her skills in planning and preparation to keep things running smoothly from property intake to unit turnovers. Originally from Minnesota, Shelly, Brian and their three kids made an adventurous move to the Bay Area and enjoyed CA living for five years until a trip to Bend inspired the move to Bend. Shelly enjoys the many food trucks, craft beer and live music scene in Bend as well as reading, walking her dog on the many beautiful trails in Bend or learning new hobbies like snowboarding, mountain biking and even baking sourdough bread.

Brad Hays, Maintenance Manager

Brad was born in Bend and raised in Central Oregon before he and his wife ventured to Newport for 19 years where he worked for a family-owned business in several roles from managing a towing company and storage facility to maintaining and managing residential rental properties. His goal with EPM is to provide superior service to tenants and homeowners alike through great communication and problem solving. A fly fishing trip with his family on the Deschutes River gave Brad a strong pull to return to his roots in Central Oregon. Brad and his wife are now empty nesters who enjoy spoiling and spending time with their two grandchildren, ATV riding on the dunes, and spending time outdoors camping or enjoying the great Central Oregon lifestyle.

Braun Shaughnessy, Leasing Agent

Braun grew up in northern CA where she gained a strong foundation in property ownership and a deep personal understanding of construction. Her background in education has honed her strengths in organization, communication, and problem-solving—skills that translate seamlessly into providing thoughtful, people-focused service to tenants and owners. Since relocating to Bend a few years ago. Braun is always busy either traveling across the region for her daughter’s sports teams, renovating something in her home, or enjoying Bend’s scenic trails with her Great Dane. As a family, the Shaughnessys share a love for alpine skiing, off-roading, paddle boarding, and discovering new places to eat and enjoy all that the area has to offer.

Jessica Moyle, Operations Coordinator

Jessica is from the East Coast and began her career in NYC as a technology product manager, focusing on improving operations with software. It was here that she developed a love of process and team building, but was getting worn out by city life. After visiting a friend in Bend ten years ago, she was forever transformed and decided to both move and change careers into property management. When not planning and inspecting properties, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and son, camping, hiking, cross country skiing, practicing yoga, and cheering on Penn State.
